TRAINING ON “COMPETENCE-BASED TRAINING METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPERS OF TRAINING MODULES”

On March 4th, in the training hall of the Project Administration Group of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project”, a training on “Competency-based training methodology” was held for developers of learning materials.

During this training, the experts of the Project were introduced the concepts of competence-based training, the procedure of developing professional maps using the DACUM method, the National Classification of Occupations, familiarization with the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08) and the experience of the Project “Strengthening Technical - Vocational Education and Training” according to competency-based training methodology.

Based on the obtained information, developers will begin the process of developing learning programs for selected professions in three priority sectors, and in the first step they will create functional maps by organizing a functional analysis of professions with the participation of experts in this field. It is worth to note that this process has been going on for more than a year, as a result of which modular educational programs of 14 professions have been developed, based on which short-term vocational training courses for citizens will be held at the Job Centers.
