Skills and Employability Enhancement Project

FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF 3 OTHER PROFESSIONS WAS HELD IN THE PROJECT.

On May 31 and June 1, 2022, in the training hall of the Project Administration Group of «Skills and Employability Enhancement Project», was held a two-day seminar on developing functional maps of the professions «Hotel Manager», «Agricultural Machinery Repairer» and «Plasterer» with the participation of experts from the ministries and agencies, associations and industry employers. The analysis of functional maps of the above-mentioned professions gives the opportunity to develop competency standards, programs and educational materials based on them.

In the Migrants service Centers in construction sector short courses are offered within the framework of the pre-employment program of citizens on the professions of electricians, welders and plasterers and other services.

It is worth noting that short-term training courses are developed and implemented based on the competency-based training methodology (CBT). This methodology was introduced and tested within the framework of the «Strengthening of technical- vocational education and training» project. As it is known, in accordance with the requirements of the new competency-based training methodology (CBT), a functional analysis of professions should be conducted in order to determine the requirements of the industry for acquiring the necessary skills for each profession.
