THE FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF TWO OTHER PROFESSIONS WAS CARRIED OUT IN THE PROJECT.

On June 2-3, 2022, in the training hall of the Project Administration Group of «Skills and Employability Enhancement Project», a two-day seminar was held on developing functional maps of the professions «Restaurant Manager» and «Electrical Meter Repairer» with the participation of experts from ministries and agencies, associations and industry employers. The analysis of the functional maps of the mentioned professions was carried out in the context of competence-based training using the «DACUM» method.

«DACUM» method is short for «developing a curriculum» and means «development of educational programs». This method provides a good opportunity for effective career analysis in a short period of time. Prestigious companies in the world such as: Toyota, Motor cycles, Ford, etc., use this method in their work.

During the seminar, experts and representatives of the profession analyzed the functions and tasks they perform during the promotion of work and developed a functional map of the profession.

Based on the functional maps, the facilitators, together with the project specialists, develop competency standards and educational programs and materials for use in the Job Centers.
