A SEMINAR ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATERIALS WAS HELD IN THE PROJECT

On June 8-9, 2023, the Project Management Unit of the “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project” held a seminar on “Improving the level of knowledge on the development of educational materials based on the OEC” for developers/facilitators of educational materials based on the OEC. At the same time, the event was attended by employees of the “Training and Methodological Center and Monitoring the Quality of Education” and the “Adult Education Center of Tajikistan”.
During the seminar, Joachim Wagner, an international expert on skills development, and project specialists spoke about the principles of designing educational materials based on the OEC, the basics of implementing, adapting and developing educational/training materials, the stages of collection, review, selection and modification. The participants were presented with existing educational materials, an example of a learning element/unit, coding of learning modules and learning elements/units, a SWOT analysis of educational materials, etc.
The participants gave examples from their experience in developing educational materials and noted the differences and advantages of the OEC method in the process of developing educational materials. During group work, participants analyzed and presented one of the traditional teaching materials using the assessment tool.
