TRAINING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF “SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT”

The goal of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project” is aimed at expanding productive employment in accordance with the requirements of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030. The final result of the Project is to improve the professional skills and employability of young people, women and labor migrants in the internal and external labor market. For this purpose, the Project contemplated to develop educational materials, organize and hold seminars and trainings.

In order to achieve the set goal, within the framework of Project implementation, Migrants service centers and Job centers will be built and equipped with all the necessary equipment and furniture, which will help on improvement of services for migrants, youth and women.

It should be noted that “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project” was implemented in the priority sectors of the economy: agriculture, tourism and energy, depending on each of them for selected professions, including: vegetable grower, fruit and vegetable processing worker, agricultural machinery repairer, farm manager, overhead power line installer and repairer, solar power equipment installer, electric meter repairer, hotel attendant, waiter, hotel manager, restaurant manager, guide with knowledge of languages, also were developed educational modules, and by using it, vocational training is conducted in these centers.
