THE FIRST MEETING OF THE INTERAGENCY STEERING COMMITTEE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF “SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT” UNDER THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

On December 8, 2021, in the Ministry of labor, migration and employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, the first meeting of the Interagency Steering Committee on the implementation of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project” under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, chaired by the Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Halimzod Abdurrahmon and with the participation of the deputies of the relevant ministries and agencies, the executive bodies of the state authorities of cities and districts was held.

At the meeting, the general presentation of the project was presented by the Minister of labor, migration and employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mrs. Amonzoda Shirin. Also, the vision of the Project Manager Mr. Safarov Daler regarding the content and implementation process was heard. Discussions were held based on the presented presentations, and a number of suggestions were made by the members of the Committee.

At the same time, the members discussed the work plan of the Interagency Steering Committee for the first half of 2022, and proposed additions. Chairman of the Committee - Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Halimzod Abdurrahmon, gave specific instructions to relevant ministries and agencies regarding the implementation of the work plan paragraphs.

It should be noted that this project is aimed at improving the professional skills of young people, women and migrants.
