VISIT OF ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK MISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARD ISSUES

On May 20, 2022, the Project Administration Group office of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project” was visited by a mission of the Asian Development Bank, on environmental protection and safeguard measures, as part of delegation of international and local experts and specialists – Yukihiro Shibuya, Chief Development Specialist – Kyoko Uematsu, environmental protection specialist – Mohammad Rafi Yusufzai and the expert on safeguard measures – Fayzulla Kudratov.

During the visit of the mission, the project manager presented his vision on the progress of work in the field of environmental protection and safeguard measures in the construction process.

It should be noted that within the framework of the project, the construction and equipping with modern equipment of three Job centers in the cities of Dushanbe, Rogun and Dangara district and three Migrants service centers in the cities of Bokhtar, Khujand and Vose district is planned. These centers are aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of unemployed youth and women and support them to find jobs in the labor market.

Also, during the visit, the mission delegation together with specialists and consultants of the project, visited the plots of land for the construction of Job centers in the cities of Dushanbe, Rogun and Dangara.
