CONDUCTING TRAINING ON SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARD BY INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS

On May 23, 2022, in the Training Hall of the Project Administration Group of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project”, for project specialists was held a training by international consultants on compliance with the requirements of the Asian Development Bank's Safeguards Policy on social issues and environmental protection in the implementation of projects financed by the Bank.

In this training, the policy of the Asian Development Bank on environmental protection and the experience of preventing damage to the environment during the completion of construction works, in particular, the rules for the removal of harmful chemical waste, and etc., were presented to specialists.

It should be noted, that the project specialists, during their work observe both local and international laws and norms on the mentioned issues and submit reports to the financing organization as required.
