VISIT OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK TO THE VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL LYCEUM OF SHAHRINAV DISTRICT

On June 8, 2022, the Minister of labor, migration and employment of the Republic of Tajikistan – Mrs. Amonzoda Shirin Shodi welcomed in the STI «Vocational and Technical Lyceum of Shahrinav District» the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank, responsible for the implementation of bank-financed projects in Central and South-West Asia – Mr. Shixin Chen and the staff of ADB Representation in Tajikistan.

During his working visit to Shahrinav, Mr. Chen visited the completed repair and restoration works, delivery and installation of educational equipment to the lyceum within the framework of the Project «Strengthening Technical - Vocational Education and Training». The Minister together with the guests visited the course of theoretical and practical classes of the institution.

Mr. Chen invited students to learn foreign languages, computer technologies, and expressed that language learning helps to find their position in the national and international arena. At the end, Mrs. Shirin Shodi and Mr. Shixin Chen wished the students success in their studies.
