SUPPORT TO WOMEN WITHIN THE  «SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT »

   The wise policy of the Founder of peace and national unity – the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, today created a good opportunity for the development of women and their activities in all economic areas of the country.

   Within the framework of «Skills and Employability Enhancement Project» conditions will be created to support women in their involvement in vocational training and development of professional skills.

   The construction of Job centers for women and persons with disabilities provides a good opportunity for equal access to training, increasing professional skills and finding their position in the labor market, thereby improving economic conditions.

   Within the framework of the Project, a scholarship program is also provided to support and encourage women. Scholarships are given to women job-seekers who are involved in training in certain specialties. Modern dormitories and child care centers will also be used near the mentioned centers to promote women's vocational training.

   Also, gender aspects are taken into account during the development of competency standards, curriculum and educational materials for the selected professions of the Project.
