REGULAR MEETING OF THE INTERDEPARTMENTAL STEERING COMMITTEE

On December 21, 2022, another session of the Interdepartmental Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurrahman Khalimzoda. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In attendance were the Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shirin Shodi Amonzoda, the project manager, Daler Safarov, and representatives from the Interdepartmental Steering Committee of relevant ministries and departments.

During the meeting, Minister Shirin Amonzoda presented a report on the progress of the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project, and the project manager, Daler Safarov, provided an update on the project's status, construction activities, development of competency standards for nine professions, contract agreements, and fund utilization.

Additionally, Mr. Abdurrahman Khalimzoda inquired about the progress of the Interdepartmental Steering Committee's work plan from its members.

At the meeting, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurrahman Khalimzoda, issued directives and tasks to responsible individuals to address existing issues and determine solutions, as well as outlined the work plan for the Interdepartmental Steering Committee. Furthermore, the committee's plan for the first half of 2023 was adopted.
