SEMINAR ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

   On January 19, 2023, a seminar was organized in the training room of the Project Administration Group for the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project for facilitators/developers of educational materials based on the CBT and for industry experts. The seminar focused on "Integration of Information Technology and Communication Skills in Industrial Sectors."

   The seminar was inaugurated by the project manager, who emphasized the importance of Integrating information and communication technologies into competency standards and educational materials. He noted that in light of the progress in science and technology and the automation of production processes, it has become essential for every professional to acquire skills in using information and communication technologies. Proficiency in information and communication technologies is a fundamental requirement for many professions, particularly those selected within the framework of the project. Educational materials for learning information and communication technologies encompass general elements and are adapted to the specific profession and industry sector.

   The seminar featured presentations from international consultants in information and communication technologies, such as Mayra Ambrosio, and other project specialists. The audience received an overview of the structure of digital competencies, standards, and competencies in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Specific areas of ICT were examined and discussed from a professional perspective, including their relevance to the industrial, trade, and employment sectors. Participants had the opportunity to share their insights and opinions on these topics.
