                HOLDING AN INTERNAL MEETING

   On January 27, 2023, a meeting was held within the Project Administration Group for the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project to discuss the fundamental provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Parental Responsibility in the Education and Upbringing of Children." The meeting involved the participation of all specialists. The project manager delivered an introductory speech, emphasizing the importance of proper upbringing of the younger generation.

   Furthermore, the manager highlighted that the Founder of national peace and unity, the Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, in his annual Address, pays particular attention to the need for improving educational activities among children and adolescents within families. He recommends raising them in the spirit of patriotism and humanism, encouraging the study of arts and self-awareness among the younger generation, expressing his opinion and underlining the significance of this matter.

   The project's legal expert, Muhammad-Ali Kasymov, provided an overview of the purpose, content, provisions, and consequences of non-compliance with this law. In particular, Kasymov noted that this law regulates the responsibility of parents and those who act in their stead in the education and upbringing of children.

    In case of non-fulfillment or improper execution of duties related to the education and upbringing of children, as stipulated by the aforementioned law and other legislative documents of the Republic of Tajikistan, parents and educators are held accountable in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan. Ignorance of the law does not exempt one from liability.
