CONDUCTING FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS

               FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF LIFT OPERATOR/MECHANIC AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCE SERVICE TECHNICIAN PROFESSIONS IN THE PROJECT

   On February 16-17, 2023, within the Project Administration Group for the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project, a two-day seminar was conducted to perform a functional analysis of the professions " Lift operator/mechanic " and " Domestic appliance service technician." The seminar involved representatives from relevant ministries and departments, as well as industry experts. The primary objective of this seminar was to develop functional profiles for these professions.

   During the seminar, project specialists provided participants with methodological recommendations for competency-based training, guidance on developing functional profiles for the selected professions using the DACUM method, and insights on integrating gender sensitivity in education.

   It is worth noting that within the project, in collaboration with industry professionals, nine functional profiles were previously developed, serving as the basis for the development of competency standards.
