THE PROJECT HELD A MEETING ON THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAW "ON PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF CITIZENS"
On February 23, 2023, a meeting was held in the Project Administration Group "Skills and Employability Enhancement Project" dedicated to the concept and provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Education of Patriotism of Citizens".
The meeting was opened by the project manager, who, among other things, noted that the adoption of this law by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is the imperative of the times, in the context of dangerous phenomena of our time, including terrorism and extremism, other transnational crimes, xenophobia, which poison people's minds.
The project lawyer spoke about the content and goals of this law and also stated that the adoption of this law is necessary for the formation of a regulatory framework for the education of patriotism, cultural, spiritual and political aspects and legal education of citizens, as well as for reducing the level of crime in society, especially among teenagers, youth, creates new opportunities. It is also important to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, protection of the Motherland, protection of state interests, strengthening independence and security.
