Every day, high-rise buildings are being erected on our beautiful land, and the construction industry is rapidly developing. With the development of construction in the republic, the need for workers of various professions is increasing. Currently, one of the most popular professions in the construction labor market is an elevator mechanic.
The elevator has a complex mechanism, inside which various electrical equipment is located that requires repair and maintenance, as well as maintaining it in working condition. Monitoring the operation of elevator equipment is the main responsibility of an elevator electrician.
An elevator mechanic is a specialist who performs the installation and dismantling of elevator equipment. An elevator electrician is a working profession and consists of 2 levels of the National Classification of Qualifications of the Republic of Tajikistan, and each of them has different duties and responsibilities.
The duties of an elevator electrician include:
· Checking and adjusting mechanical and electrical equipment;
· Identifying and troubleshooting;
· Mechanical processing of parts with a metalworking tool;
· Installation and assembly of electric motors;
· Wiring through pipes and harnesses in the elevator shaft;
· Replacement of the balance beam suspension of the elevator cabin;
· Maintenance of the necessary documentation, etc.
It is worth noting that within the framework of the Project, training in the specialty of "Elevator Electrician" is planned for citizens at the Skills Development Center in Dushanbe. The development of training materials and training in this profession is carried out jointly with industry specialists/experts and the State Service for Control of Labor Safety in Industry and Mining under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
