ANOTHER MEETING OF STEERING COMMITTEE

   On January 7, 2024, the 5th meeting of the Interdepartmental Steering Committee for the implementation of the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmon Khalimzoda, took place at the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.

   During the meeting, the Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Gulnora Hasanzoda, provided updates on the progress of the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project. In turn, the project manager, Daler Safarov, reported on the progress of construction, fund allocation, procurement, and other related matters.

   From their presentations, it became evident that construction work on some project sites is nearing completion, and the process of equipment delivery and furnishing of centers is underway. Committee members, in turn, shared their conclusions and recommendations regarding the work of the under-construction centers, the stages of beneficiary engagement, and expressed readiness to collaborate in this direction.

   In conclusion, it was noted that the next committee meeting will be held at one of the under-construction centers.
