MEETING WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES

   On January 19, 2024, a meeting took place in the Training Hall of the Project Administration Group for the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project. The project manager, Daler Safarov, met with representatives of the project "Action Dialogues for Talented Youth in Central Asia," funded by the European Union.

   During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues related to competency-based training, the system of professional education in Tajikistan, the involvement of women and youth in professional training, and other relevant matters. The manager outlined the goals and objectives of the the Skills and Employability Enhancement Project, including the construction of job centers and migration service centers, educational courses, and the development of occupational standards of competency in various sectors of the country's economy. Eleven standards of competency for occupational professions have been developed and approved with the involvement of specialists from ministries, agencies, associations, and representatives of various organizations.

   In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness for further collaboration in strengthening the development of professional education.
