VISIT OF MRS. AMONZODA SHIRIN AND MRS. RIE HIRAOKA TO THE OFFICE OF THE PROJECT ADMINISTRATION GROUP OF “SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT”

On February 16, 2022, the Minister of labor, migration and employment of the Republic of Tajikistan - Amonzoda Shirin, the director of the social sector Department of Central and Western Asia of the Asian Development Bank - Rie Hiraoka and the head of the project management Department of Asian Development Bank representation in Tajikistan - Aziz Haydarov visited the office of the Project Administration Group of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project”.

During the visit, Amonzoda and Hiraoka looked into the working conditions and workplaces of the Project employees. Then, a working meeting was held with the participation of guests and employees of the Project Administration Group, where the results of the implementation of the Project “Strengthening Technical-Vocational Education and Training” and the work plans and tasks of “Skills and Employability Enhancement Project” for 2022 year were discussed.

Mrs. Rie Hiraoka expressed her satisfaction with the timely and successful implementation of the Project “Strengthening Technical - Vocational Education and Training” regardless of the outbreak of the new SARS- COVID-19 coronavirus, and thanked the Project staff for their effective work and wished them success in further work.

The Minister expressed gratitude to Mrs. Hiraoka and the Asian Development Bank for their constant support in the implementation of the Project. It was noted that the Project “Strengthening Technical – Vocational Education and Training” had a positive and important impact on the system of primary vocational-technical education and laid an instant basis for the development of the field of vocational education. At the same time, in the context provided, the Project “Skills and Employability Enhancement” can achieve the goals ahead, that is, to increase the professional skills of citizens in order to increase their employability in the domestic and overseas labor market.
