VISIT OF THE DIRECTOR FOR CENTRAL, WESTERN AND EAST ASIA OF THE OFFICE OF THE SOCIAL,

On February 27, 2024, Director of the Central, West and East Asia Department, Office of the Human and Social Development Department, Regional Group Department of the Asian Development Bank - Sophia Shakil and the mission of the Asian Development Bank Shin Long - Project Manager/Chief Social Director of ADB, Madeline Dizon - Project Analyst and Lorin Felicen - Senior Operations Assistant visited the office of the Project Administration Group of the Project "Skills and Employability Enhancement Project"

During the visit, Ms. Shakil met with the staff of the State Unitary Enterprise as part of a working meeting and learned about the implementation of the project. Project Manager - Safarov Daler reported on the activities of the project and the results achieved so far, including: the development of competency standards, educational programs, the List of professions of the Classifier of Professions of the Republic of Tajikistan, the construction of advanced training centers and service centers for migrants, etc.

Ms. Shakil, the mission team and the PAG specialists also got acquainted with the progress of construction work at the Job Center in Dushanbe.

In conclusion, Ms. Shakil and the delegation of the Asian Development Bank mission expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the project and wished the PAG success in its future activities.
