VISIT OF PARTICIPANTS OF THE XXVIII COUNCIL OF DIRECTORS OF MIGRATION AUTHORITIES OF THE CIS MEMBER STATES

On May 28, 2024, within the framework of the XXVIII meeting of the Council of Heads of Migration Agencies of the CIS Member States, together with the Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatzoda K. and guest delegations - representatives of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan visited the Skills Development Center in the Dangara district. During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the main building, classrooms, a sports ground and the conditions of the hostel for beneficiaries. It is worth noting that the built center is equipped with modern equipment, theoretical classrooms are equipped with software and simulators, favorable conditions have been created for citizens of the republic. The educational building is equipped with a ramp and an elevator for people with disabilities. There is also a Child Care Center on the territory, where mothers can undergo training. This allows women to freely participate in the learning process. In addition, scholarships are provided to women and girls. For beneficiaries from other districts, a hostel with 130 beds, a medical office, a laundry, an ironing room, a canteen, etc. was built.
Training at the center is free.
The activities of the Skills Development Center in the Dangara District are aimed at improving the skills of young men and women seeking employment, and thereby increasing their well-being by training them in the professions of "Vegetable grower", "Fruit and vegetable processing worker", "Agricultural machinery repair", "Farm manager", "Tool repair", "Information and communication technologies" are also aimed at learning foreign languages, such as English, Russian and Korean. Training at the center is based on the innovative methodology of competency-based education.
In addition, the center teaches soft skills such as teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, etc.
The attention of visitors was drawn to the competency standards and educational programs developed within the framework of the project. Because this method increases the competitiveness of workers in the domestic and foreign labor market. It is worth noting that this center was commissioned on May 24, 2024, with the participation of the Founder of National Peace and Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon
